About ASL Club
Founded in 2025, the American Sign Language Club at UC Irvine strives to create a diverse and inclusive community for anyone interested in ASL and Deaf and Hard of Hearing culture. Whether you’re learning ASL for the first time, passionate about advocacy, or personally navigating hearing loss, our club welcomes you!
We host engaging socials, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers that support Deaf and Hard of Hearing causes, visits to schools for the deaf, educational workshops, and guest talks from professors and healthcare professionals. Together, we aim to celebrate language, culture, and accessibility, as well as build bridges that connect and empower.
